When I was a kid growing up in Florida and New Orleans, 

I used to love the roads that were paved with oyster shells. 

They are perfect in their imperfection.

Okay, so I never get tired of painting Oyster Shells, they are so

interesting in that they are so different. I went with a heavy

IMPASTO style for this one, oil on canvas, square.

They both have a touch of my favorite color of the moment - CORAL!

fun painting them, not stepping on them. : )
