Hula Girls Painting art

These HULA DANCERS were a quick gesture drawing that became a painting. I couldn't 

repeat this movement if I tried, it was funny how they look like they were following girl on the

left so I named it Hula Lessons. Prints are on the

Mermaids Painting on Canvas large

This painting is on a 16" x 20" canvas, sides are painted a neutral

light blue. Kind of a watery feel, I used to paint a ton of mermaids on wood

for my recycledwoodart.etsy.com site I share with my sister. We are trying out

some new designs that are not so large. No fun to have life size wood mermaids

break in transit, but it happens.  So I called this one Mermaid Dance.

Miss the gesture, figure drawing that I used to do a lot. I didn't really learn how to paint faces

until I was teaching high school and my mentor, Mr Dodt, showed me how. He can paint a perfect

portrait in about a minute. Most people cannot do that, it is awesome.
